MK Ben-Ari: Exchange Syrian for Eli Cohen's Remains

In a letter to the Defense Minister, IDF Chief of Staff, Chief of Police, and Attorney Genera, MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) urged that the Syrian citizen who is in custody from the members of the Gaza flotilla not be released unless Syria releases the remains of Eli Cohen. MK Ben-Ari wrote in the letter that the High Court has already ruled that it is legal to keep terror suspects as bargaining chips, and that retrieving Eli Cohen's remains were released was a good reason to continue holding the Syrian citizen. MK Ben-Ari added that any “normal” state would do as he suggested.
